A group of employees of the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription (SSMC) visited the “Museum of Shehids”, institute by the Historical Research Public Association “HEGIGET” (Truth) in Nasimi district of Baku.
Alovsat Gasimov, the founder of the “Museum of Shehids”, Chairman of the Public Association of Historical Studies “Hegiget” said that every warrior who became a shehid and wounded in the war to restore the territorial integrity of our country will remain in the history of this nation forever. A. Gasimov stated that this unique museum has been operating for about eight years and contains photos of 950 shehids in the museum. The visitors coming here frequently get familiar with the realities of Garabagh. At the moment, the museum presents the photos, memories, documents of patriotic activity, reflecting the bloody tragedy of Karabakh during 1988-1996. The Chairman of the Public Association acquainted the visitors with the exhibits at the “Museum of Shehids” and gave them detailed information about the history of each painting.
Later, the executive director of the Public Assciation Rumane Amiraliyeva whose two brothers became shehids spoke about the importance of the “Museum of Shehids”
The Deputy Chief of SSMC, Major General Mayil Shahverdiyev thanked for the organization of such a museum and drew attention to the importance of such events in the broad propagation of military patriotism.
