The welcoming ceremony of the military servicemen, who were transferred to the reserve from the ranks of the Armed Forces, was held by the organization of the Gobustan district department of the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription (SSMC), and with the participation of the Executive Power of the district, parents of the reserved young men, veterans, intellectuals and members of the public.
The participants of the event firstly laid flowers at the monument to the Nationwide Leader Heydar Aliyev and rendered homage to his memory.
Speaking at the event, Adil Mammadov, the head of Gobustan district Executive Power spoke about the successful results of reforms led by Ilham Aliyev, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-In-Chief.
Lieutenant-Colonel Ikhdiyar Ahmadov, the head of the Gobustan district department of the SSMC, said that besides with the military training of young people for the ranks of the Armed Forces the regular training of the reserved military servicemen has a great importance.
Abdulhuseyn Aghayev, Chairman of Gobustan District Veterans' Council expressed confidence that young men, who are transferred to reserve from the army, will be distinguished for their activities and will make worthy contributions to the socio-economic and social life of our country.
Speaking on behalf of young men, Rovshan Gahramanov stated that they pride themselves for their military service in the ranks of Azerbaijani Armed Forces and they are ready furthermore for fight for the independence and integrity of our country.
During the event, military servicemen were informed about the service in reserve and their rights and responsibilities were reported. Young people who have been transferred to reserve have been offered jobs in various fields by the relevant agencies and employment departments of the district. Some of the young men have accepted job offers, and a number of young men have agreed to join additional vocational courses.
At the end, the young men who were transferred from active military service to reserve were presented various valuable gifts.
